Abhilipsa Panda was born on November 30, 2004 in a Brahmin family in Barbil, a small town in Keonjhar district of Orissa. Her family consists of parents and a younger sister. Her father, Ashok Panda, previously worked in the Indian Army, but now works as a manager in a private security company. While Abhilipsa’s mother Puspashree is a teacher by profession.
Abhilipsa has a long association with music. Her grandfather was famous in the nearby town for playing the harmonium. She grew up learning classical music from him. She started learning Odissi Classical Vocal in LKG class when she was just 4 years old. But for some reason she had to give up.

Career
In 2015, Abhilipsa began learning Hindustani singing at the Draupadi Devi Cultural Institute. While studying, her mentor asked her if she would lend her voice for a children’s song, Abhilipsa said yes and thus she took her first step in the singing industry.
In 2017-18, he won the Governor’s Trophy in Hindustani Classical Voice. He also participated in an Odia reality show, Orissa Super Singer. After some time, the makers of Odisha Super Singer posted a video clip of Abhilipsa on different social media platforms. Jitu Sharma watched this clip and loved Abhilipsa’s voice. Later, he came forward and recorded the song Har Har Shambhu Shiv Mahadeva.
