Shukla made his acting debut in the television show Jersey no 10. He has worked in several television serials including Jaane Kya Baat Hui, Ek Hazaro Mein Meri Behna Hai, Geet, Hitler Didi, Choti Bahu, Silsila Badlate Rishton Ka and many further. Shukla also directed and acted in a short film ‘Bareilly Ki Beti’ with his wife.
Shukla made her appearances in many Bollywood films including Jai Ho, Luka Chuppi, Roar: Tigers of the Sunderbans and Aksar 2.
