If you like to eat puff pastry for breakfast, then this weird combination recipe might not be for you. The sandwich has a crispy outer shell and is packed with tasty vegetables and sometimes even meat. However, an Indian food vendor decided to add an omelet to it, which has confused many people who love the dish.
A video of this unusual combination is making the rounds on Instagram, and the vendor is known as the owner of the Lawrence fast food stall in Sadar Bazar, Agra. The food stall was introduced to the internet by gourmet vlogger Yash Chauhan on Instagram.
Video captures how the bizarre dish is made
In the video, Chauhan captures how the food vendor prepares the infamous dish, giving people a reason to hate everything about him. The vendor makes the potato omelette by first choosing a potato stuffed with potatoes. He then opens the burger to reveal its interior.
The vendor heats the burger in a large, flat skillet. Then prepare the ingredients for the tortilla on the plate. The vendor gets eggs, vegetables and other seasonings in a bowl and mixes them well, just like making an omelette in India.
Then dip the egg mixture into the pan and place the burger on top of the tortilla. This isn’t the end of the vendor’s weird creature, but also adds the finishing touches to the dish by hitting some mayonnaise, pasta sauce, desi chutney, and raw onions.
