Official statement rules out alleged accident involving Agustín Paoli
The official statement says: “At 41 years old, this Wednesday we received the sad news of the death of Agustín Paoli. The Fortinero hockey family, and the entire Institution, regrets the death of a man who dedicated much of his life to the growth of the sport of bocce and sticks in Vélez Sarsfield.

“The sense of belonging guided him to always want more for his Club. Whether as a player or collaborator, he provided at all times his total commitment and permanent joy so that hockey continues to grow in El Fortín, both men and women,” the statement states.
“From the institution we send our deepest condolences to Agus’s family and friends,” the statement concludes. Likewise, people close to the athlete do not mention any accident.
