Alisha Weir was born on September 26, 2009 in Dublin, Ireland. She began her career at the age of three with television commercials. She appeared in a television series called It’s All About Me in 2017. Subsequently she had the opportunity to work in several plays produced by Festival Productions, Talented Kids & MVW Talent Agency and West End Touring Musical.
In 2018, Alisha made her acting debut in a feature film through Don’t Leave Home, playing the role of Siobhan Callahan alongside Mark Lawrence and Sue Walsh. She subsequently acted in supporting roles in Day Out, The Wiremen, Fiadhas Oak and Two By Two: Overboard. In 2022, Alisha rose to fame by playing the lead role in the musical fantasy comedy drama film directed by Matthew Warchus, Matilda the Musical. The story is based on an extraordinary girl, with a vivid imagination, who dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results.
