Asees Kaur was born on September 26, 1988 in Panipat city of Haryana. His father’s name is Harvinder Singh and his mother’s name is Kamaljit Kaur. There are six members in the family. She lived with two sisters, Deedar and Prabhjee, and a brother, Gurkirat Singh. Her hometown is Panipat and her childhood is spent in Panipat. After seeing Asees’ interest in singing, the entire family moved from Panipat to Mumbai in 2013. Her sister Deedar accompanies her on the tabla.

Asees Kaur completed her early education from Bal Vikas School (Model Town). She later graduated in M.Com from SD College, Panipat. Asees loved singing since he was little. At the age of 5, her father inspired her to learn Gurbani. After learning Gurbani, she became proficient in singing. She also participated in many state and national level singing competitions and won.
During his college studies, Asees decided to pursue a career in singing and began practicing music in Jalandhar under the guidance of Ustad Puran Shahkoti.

Career
Asees Kaur had no godfather in Mumbai. He started his career in PTC’s reality television show “Awaaz Punjab Di”. In this show, he appeared as a contestant. During this show, he had the opportunity to meet great Bollywood and Bollywood musicians; Apart from this show, he also participated in Indian Idol.
Asees entered Bollywood with the movie “Tamanche” which was released in the year 2014. He sang the song “Dildar” for this movie. His song was not in the film but after this song he got an identity in the film industry. After singing songs in some of the films, Anees sang the song “Bol na” from the film Kapoor and Sons. This song was one of the best songs of that year. He got many awards for this song.
