That’s how we are, brothers: divided by an invisible line, political ambitions and hatred for petty gains. Being played by our political and defense aliases… but we have the same blood, the same heart, the same mother (earth).

Nothing new. This happens in cricket all over the world. The batter receives help from the side of the field. There’s no point in hyping this up simply because it’s about India vs Pakistan.

Here are some match updates.

In terms of competition, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya came to the rescue, and Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled a dazzling spell, but the weather forced India and Pakistan to split points in an Asia Cup match that had all the ingredients for a spectacular conclusion .

India were bowled out in 48.5 overs before the heavens opened. Kishan (82 off 81 balls) and Pandya (87 off 90 balls) combined for 138 runs off 141 balls to propel their team to 66 for 4 in 14.1 overs.

The nil result meant that Pakistan finished Pool A with three points, securing them a place in the Super Four of the tournament. Kishan and Pandya’s performances will be seen as a positive omen in India.

They teamed up after Pakistan pacers Shahid Afridi and Haris Rauf teamed up to defeat Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli early innings. India, who picked up a point from their opening match, will defeat Nepal on Monday and advance to the Super Four.
