Bangalore roommate search: Man offers ‘potential co-founder’ role based on vibes

Bangalore is the only city that consistently makes headlines for incidents that no other city has seen. ‘Peak Bengaluru’ has become an emotional experience for all Bengalis and now, it seems, also for people on social media.

One more iconic moment has gone viral where another Bengali is asking for a roommate but of course with a twist.

In another episode of ‘Peak Bengaluru’, a man named Sankeerth took to Twitter and specified a specific criteria while looking for a roommate, which made the internet laugh. Sankeerth expressed his desire for his new roommate to be a “potential co-founder” if they click.

Notably, Sankeerth’s Twitter account indicates that he was also the founder of three companies and had previously worked for corporations such as Dunzo.

Sankeerth shared images of the apartment, which has a pool, living room and bedrooms. “Seeking flatmate (can be potential co-founder if we vibe) for semi-furnished flat near Banerghatta Road. closed society w. gym, swimming pool, pet dog, fish, green areas Available: July. No brokerage Rent: 8.3k/month,” he wrote along with photos of his Bangalore apartment.

People on social media were up for it, this is what some people wrote.

Startup culture is booming in India

The Indian government has launched a number of programs and policies to help entrepreneurs. Programs like “Startup India” offer incentives, tax breaks and streamlined regulatory processes, making it easier for entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses.

There has been considerable growth in the financing options available to entrepreneurs in India over the years.

Venture capital firms, angel investors and crowdfunding platforms have developed, providing much-needed financing to help innovative ideas and companies grow.

India offers a large pool of smart and ambitious people who are willing to take risks and explore business opportunities.

The outlook towards startups and entrepreneurship has changed for the better, with more people choosing the path of startups over established career options. This cultural shift has helped the overall expansion of the startup ecosystem.
