He has two sisters named Asia and Leanne and a brother, Luc Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth completed his school education at St. Peter’s High School in Peterborough. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the National Theater School of Canada. At school he performed with the Peterborough Theater Guild and received a civic award for his work raising money for charity.

Career
At age 17, Hollingsworth was offered a lead role in a new play Frozen Dreams. In his final year at drama school, he landed leading roles in all 3 productions staged at the Mounment National Theater and garnered accolades after being listed as one of the top 10 performances of 2006 by The Hour. Hollingsworth has appeared on several television shows, most notably Suits. He also starred in Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men. He was also nominated for the Robert Merritt Award in 2007.
In 2007, she began developing her film and television career, starring in the popular CTV series Degrassi The Next Generation and the TBS comedy Lovebites. She later starred in the CBC television series Heartland. In 2008, she starred in the play Last Days of Graceland. In 2013, she starred in the mystery drama Cult.
