However, on Saturday, police officers asked for the public’s help in nabbing 33-year-old Bernard John Matthews, who they would know by some nickname, and was declared a Coochee. However, Master Sergeant Ken Rogers said that Matthews often frequented Nundah Northgate, Virginia and Banyo. He also added that they consider Matthews to be armed and dangerous. He went on to state that they believe he is in possession of a loaded firearm and has a propensity to use the firearm.

Earlier, Rogers said the fugitive pulled a gun on a couple at an ATM in Virginia. Recently, he also tried to rob Northgate. The detective said that he has a long history of violent and criminal behavior but out of concern the behavior escalated. The detective said adding members of the public should not be brought near the man. He said Matthews was believed to be operating alone, but he may be getting help from associates to stay hidden. The project was started by Dowding Labor in the late 1980s, and its main project was the Joondalup rail line and associated bus services, which have been a central component of Transperth’s transport network since the opening of the line to passengers on March 21, 1993.
