President Biden was accused of disrespect after quickly leaving the East Room of the White House before the conclusion of a Medal of Honor ceremony honoring a Vietnam War veteran on Tuesday.

Military veterans later criticized Biden, arguing that the commander in chief showed a surprising lack of respect.
“Sorry for my French… But what an idiot. Biden’s continued lack of respect for anyone is appalling. Hawaii, service members, active shooter victims, the list goes on,” former Navy SEAL and podcast host Shawn Ryan. he tweeted after the president’s hasty departure.

He was referring to when Biden appeared to look at his watch during a solemn ceremony for the 13 American soldiers killed in an August 2021 terrorist attack near the Kabul airport in Afghanistan.
Some questioned whether Biden’s sudden departure was planned in advance or whether it was another case of the shaky leader not sure where to go after making public comments.
“Do you think this was done on purpose or is it just more senile moments? I think the guy is so self-absorbed that he makes mistakes like this. God, this man is a great embarrassment to our nation,” said Gun Owners of America Indiana State Director Tim Harmsen. reflected in a tweet.

In the official video of the White House ceremony, the broadcast cuts off just after Biden leaves the East Room, also ignoring the chaplain’s blessing.
The White House did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment.
Taylor received the Medal of Honor for his heroics during a battle in Vietnam in June 1968.

The distinguished helicopter pilot braved heavy ground fire for 45 minutes while conducting low-level attacks, strafing the enemy with bullets and aerial rockets as they surrounded US forces on the ground.
Running out of fuel and ammunition, Taylor decided to take out the American patrol party.
He used his two-man Cobra helicopter, something that had never been accomplished or even attempted during the course of the war, with complete disregard for his personal safety, all while braving enemy gunfire.
