Blake Proehl played high school football at Providence High School and later showed his prowess while playing for East Carolina. He went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, but signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately, Blake was placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury. At the start of the 2022 season, Blake was placed on the reserved list. Later, he was first activated, then waived, and re-signed to the practice squad. Blake is currently a free agent. As his father mentioned, Ricky Proehl is also a former soccer player. He played 17 seasons in the NFL, including three seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
