The News 24 says that the rugby player who plays for Blue Bulls is a chemical engineering student who allegedly killed his girlfriend named Ntokozo Mayenzi Xaba. This incident occurred on Wednesday night at a Teshwane University of Technology (TUT) residence hall. The girl was stabbed to death. Ntokozo Mayenzi Xaba’s cause of death was a fatal stab wound. Colonel Dimakatso Sello said: “It is reported that on February 1, 2023, the victim was drinking with friends, including her ex-boyfriend at a house in Pretoria Gardens.”
The suspect was arrested and questioned by detectives. The colonel further added that the friends allegedly left the two together. The next morning, the victim was found dead with stab wounds to the neck. Since then, the ex-boyfriend has been detained for questioning by the police. The investigation is still in process.
