CBSE Class 9 Book Features Chapter on Dating and Relationships

Navigating love and relationships can be difficult at any age, but it is particularly difficult during adolescence. Crushes, first loves, and blossoming romances can be exhilarating, but they can also be complex and confusing.

In India, where young people do not feel comfortable discussing these issues with their parents, they usually look to the Internet or friends for guidance, which is not necessarily credible.

As a result, families and schools must stand up and take the initiative to educate children about what it means to have a good relationship and how to recognize a bad one.
