Multimedia mogul Charlamagne Tha God criticized First Lady Jill Biden’s recent sales pitch by claiming her husband has the “stamina” to serve another four years in office.
Last week, the first lady was asked if she had any concerns about the age and health of President Biden, 81, as he enters the 2024 election cycle campaigning for a second term and whether he “can do it.”
“He can do it,” he said.
“I see Joe every day. I accompany him, you know, traveling around this country. I see the vigor of him. I see the energy in him. I see the passion in him every day,” the first lady said.
When asked if he agreed with her, “The Breakfast Club” co-host responded with a firm “no” before letting out a chuckle.
Charlamagne joined others who sounded the alarm about Biden’s dismal polls before November, such as former Obama adviser David Axelrod, in posing the question to Democrats: “Do you even want to take a chance on Joe Biden?”
“That’s really the conversation: Are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris still winnable candidates? I think Republicans should ask themselves that too. Is Donald Trump still a winnable candidate? Charlemagne said. “I know the polls say he would beat Joe Biden himself in a general election now. But I do not know. I really, really don’t know. So to answer your question, uh, no. He doesn’t seem full of vigor like his wife says. For me, at least, not.”
Charlamagne tha God disagrees with Jill Biden’s assessment of the president’s health. First lady Jill Biden told MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski that she was not concerned about President Biden’s age and health heading into the 2024 presidential election. AP
The radio host made headlines in recent weeks for saying he felt “burned” by the Biden-Harris administration after endorsing its ticket in 2020, and vowed he won’t offer any endorsements in the presidential race this time around.
“I don’t regret voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris just because they kept Donald Trump out of the White House. What I regret is having supported them,” Charlamagne told Fox News Digital. “They come and court you, they say sweet things to you, and they tell you all the things you know you want to hear. But once they get into a relationship, they don’t really back up a lot of those promises.”
He has been equally critical of Trump, who Charlamagne warned would bring the “end of democracy” if elected again.

When asked about those who view his comments about Trump as hyperbolic, Charlamagne doubled down, listing Trump’s sins since the “coup attempt” that preceded Jan. 6, his comments about immigrants “poisoning the blood of our country”, until its Truth. Social post suggesting the “termination of all rules, regulations and articles, including those found in the Constitution” during the 2020 presidential election.
“If you’re an American citizen, if you call yourself a patriot, you shouldn’t want anyone in the White House who doesn’t seem to, you know, respect the Constitution of the United States of America. So that’s my biggest problem. And that’s why I feel like it’s a threat to democracy, because anyone who doesn’t believe in the Constitution is absolutely a threat to democracy,” he said.
In addition to being a radio giant, Charlamagne is expanding its presence in the world of podcasts. Following the 2020 launch of his Black Effect podcasts, he recently launched the politics-focused Reasoned Choice Media Podcast Network, which he promised will be a platform that welcomes all points of view.
“Don’t think this is a platform that’s going to become another liberal echo chamber,” Charlamagne told Fox News Digital. “We will have hosts who will be conservative. And we’re just going to hope that a real dialogue can begin in this country. We need both sides to tell their truths. And people, we, should be able to listen to both sides and choose who they want to support.”
Reason Choice Media’s first podcast, Native Land Pod, co-hosted by former CNN contributor Angela Rye, former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross and former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, has already made headlines, with Rye accusing her Former CNN colleague Chris Cuomo called her “tinsel crotch.”
