Her mother Maitreyi Gupta is a dedicated worker who worked for BSNL in the same city. Sayani is blessed to have two brothers named Bhairav and Ahir. She obtained her graduation degree from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi in New Delhi. After graduation, she worked as a marketing and sales associate at Indian Infrastructure Pvt. Limited. Career
Shortly after graduating from FTII, Sayani began modeling and acting in theater. She was always inclined towards the category of parallel and artistic cinema and wanted to establish herself in the same genre. Sayani debuted in Bollywood with the film.
