The case of Dee Ann Warner has been characterized by a cloud of mystery and suspicion. Dale Warner, her husband, has now faced legal consequences due to his failure to adhere to court orders. This resulted in his arrest during the conservatorship hearing. John Polderman, representing Dee’s conservator, Charles Bullock, voiced concerns regarding the lack of compliance with court directives, a sentiment that was supported by the court’s ruling. The conservatorship was established to evaluate and safeguard Dee Ann’s estate, necessitating the submission of financial records from Dale and his associate, Mark Weisberg.
During the hearing, Weisberg acknowledged blocking Polderman’s access to financial documents during a visit to the Warner farm and admitting to failing to submit certain checks due to an oversight. Following these revelations, Lenawee County Probate Court Judge Catherine Sala found both Dale and Weisberg in contempt of court and ordered their immediate arrest. Both were handcuffed and taken to the Lenawee County jail until they fulfilled the court’s mandate by providing the requested documentation. Dee Ann’s family responded to this development with a mixture of emotions. The “Justice For Dee” movement, spearheaded by Kathryn Adams, expressed a sense of relief and vindication, believing that this arrest holds Dale accountable for his actions since Dee’s disappearance. Dee Ann’s family has maintained suspicions surrounding Dale’s potential involvement in her disappearance. Despite Dale’s initial objections, her family is presently engaged in a legal battle to have her declared legally deceased, with a ruling expected on August 16. Should the declaration be made, Dee Ann’s family intends to pursue a civil wrongful death lawsuit against Dale Warner.
