Donald Trump issued an order banning TikTok and WeChat in the US.

If China does not change ownership within 45 days, the Trump administration will ban social media platforms TikTok and WeChat in the United States.

President Donald Trump has issued an executive order in this regard.

This information has been mentioned in the report of the American news agency CNN last Friday night.

The executive order stated, “after 45 days; No person or entity may transact with ByteDance Limited in the United States.”

Last Monday, President Donald Trump demanded that TikTok be banned in the United States starting September 15 unless it is sold to an American company.

National security concerns have been cited as the reason for the ban.

The Trump administration has said: “In addition to the personal information of American citizens, much of the country’s sensitive information is passed directly into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party through the app. There are also cases of blackmail and corporate espionage using this information.”

Donald Trump issued a similar directive on WeChat shortly after the directive on TikTok was issued. Funds can also be transferred to the country via WeChat. So this app will be banned completely if you don’t follow the change of ownership guidelines.

By the way, Tiktok has close to 100 million followers in the United States.
