Dramatic video shows huge shark rescued after being stranded on a Florida beach

PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. – Beachgoers came to the rescue after a huge shark washed up on a Florida beach.

A woman captured the dramatic scene on video as her husband and some other men worked to bring the shark back into the water.

One of the men said he saw the shark approaching the beach at “high speed” and then the shark became stuck in the sand.

“After a few seconds of watching him struggle to get back into the water, my husband took over to try to help him,” the woman told Storyful.

Her husband and a couple of other men grabbed the tail fin and dragged the toothy fish toward deeper water. The agitated mako shark, dwarfing the man, struggled and thrashed. At one point, he pushed rescuers aside.

“Honey, it’s too dangerous, don’t do that,” the woman behind the camera shouts.

Instead of flexing its muscles like a shark, it bit the air several times, showing its deadly teeth.

“Honey, look at those damn teeth,” he said in the video.

The woman said that after a few attempts by her husband, two others joined the dangerous rescue mission. They managed to take it to deeper waters.
