Security cameras at a supermarket in Uruguay captured the moment when a brave employee threw a soda bottle to neutralize a man who was trying to escape with products he had not supposedly paid for.
In the video, the man is seen forcing himself on the security guard, using shopping carts as a shield to avoid being caught and escape from the establishment.
However, a supermarket employee reacted quickly, grabbed a soda bottle and threw it at the individual, who fell to the ground due to the impact.
Once knocked out, the security guard was able to apprehend the man and hand him over to local authorities.
The video went viral on social media after being shared on October 25, even though the incident occurred in late January of this year, as shown in the video.
The recording accumulated more than a million views in less than a day, and some users made jokes about what happened.
