The incident occurred at the under-construction Terminal 3 of the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on January 25, where parts of a 400-tonne crane, including a remote cable and a hose, were reported missing.

Airport officials were alerted to the incident a day later, drawing attention to the lack of security.

A case of robbery has been registered against unidentified culprits under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), IANS reported.

What other robberies are happening in Lucknow?

This incident follows another burglary in New Rahimabad under the same jurisdiction where valuable items, including jewellery, were stolen from the residence of Ashish Joshi on Tuesday.

Joshi mentioned being absent on the night of the robbery. Adding to the list of thefts, Thakurganj, a sub-locality within Daulatganj area of ​​Lucknow, reported a similar incident. Rajesh Prakesh, a newly appointed priest at the Basantkunj-based Panchmukhi Hanuman temple, had Rs. 80,000 worth of jewelery and Rs. 20,000 in cash stolen from his room.
