Heartbreaking video shows tattoo artist Shani Louk dancing joyfully at an Israeli music festival before Hamas terrorists stripped her naked and paraded her, while her mother revealed on Tuesday that she now believes she is still alive.
The 23-year-old, who spent part of her childhood in Portland, Oregon, appears in a new online clip dancing happily at the Tribe of Nova event in the Negev Desert while surrounded by fellow partygoers shortly before the Massacre that left at least 260 dead.
Hours later, the terrorists paraded her naked through the streets in a truck, shouting: “Allahu Akbar!” (“God is great!”).
The video was released when Louk was believed to be among those killed and was described as “probably his last moments before Hamas attacked the music festival.”
However, on Tuesday her mother, Ricarda, claimed to have been informed by an unnamed Palestinian source that her daughter was actually in a hospital.
“We now have more information that Shani is alive, but she has a serious head injury and is in critical condition,” the desperate mother explained in a short recording shared by Spiegel.
“We ask, no, we demand, that the German government act quickly,” he continued. “This is really my desperate appeal to the entire country of Germany to help me bring my Shani home safely.”
The surprising update came hours after it was learned that Louk was attending kindergarten at the Portland Jewish Academy.

“It’s breaking our hearts,” Spilman added of Louk’s death. “And when it comes to something so close to home, I think everyone feels like it’s not too far away.”
Merrill Hendin, principal of the Portland school, expressed grief over the senseless killing.
“We were terribly saddened by his tragic loss and our hearts go out to his family and to all the people who were tragically kidnapped,” he told the outlet.

Louk’s aunt, Orly Louk, told German media outlet Der Spiegel that her niece had grown up in Israel, but was a globe-trotting pacifist who refused to perform mandatory military service for Israelis.
He said the last photo Louk posted on social media was a selfie before heading to the festival near Kibbutz Re’im.
“She often posted selfies on Instagram,” Orly Louk told the outlet while holding out hope that her niece was still alive.
