The news of Don Brymo Uchegbu’s passing came just a couple of weeks after the death of another vibrant Nollywood actor, Obinna Nwafor, affectionately known as Saint Obi. He said that Don Brymo Uchegbu was on the sets of his next movie when he suddenly collapsed. However, people on the set of the film helped the actor and immediately took him to the hospital. Sadly, the veteran Nollywood actor gave up at the hospital. Doctors believe the veteran actor may have suffered a partial stroke that resulted in high blood pressure. He went on to say that yesterday he returned to Asaba from Lagos and was preparing to go to Port-Harcourt to meet Don Brymo Uchegbu on the set, but before reaching there he had received this sad news.
Harry B said: “I returned to Asaba yesterday from Lagos and was preparing to travel to Port-Harcourt, to meet him on set, before receiving this sad news this morning. I just posted on the internet one of the videos I made with him along with his own video, where he said that people should appreciate him, while he was alive, and not when he is gone, they will be praising him, ”added the prominent actor. Mayor Ofoegbu also confirmed the news by sharing a photo of the late actor and captioning it, “he Plans for tomorrow but he lives for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. I wrote those lines on my WhatsApp status yesterday afternoon. My man, my 5 and 6, Don Brymo Uchegbu, passed away in his sleep. I received the shocking news this morning and had to check with his family. It’s hard to say goodbye”

Talking about the personal life of Don Brymo Uchegbu, he was a native of Enugwa Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State. The recently deceased Nollywood actor was a highly sought after actor in the country as he was best known for his royalty roles in movies. The veteran actor started his acting career when he was studying in high school where he used to participate in plays. He later joined the entertainment industry in the year 2000. After making his debut in the industry, the actor was never far behind and went on to act in many movies like “My Beloved Daughter”, “My God Never Sleeps”, “ Battle of Serpents”, “Land of Fire”, and “No Mercy”.
