‘I was fooled by thousands by the villain,’ says James Bond star George Lazenby

However, he did not have any experience in the acting field, but he was quite convincing in his screen test that he broke another actor’s nose at the time of the test fight.

But when Telly Savalas, the movie’s on-screen villain, learned of the huge amount of money circulating there, he devised a devious plan. Telly played Ernst Starvo Blofek in the film and had a great relationship with George, but things quickly got out of hand. Sevalas decided to invite George to play a poker game with him in which he lost all of his wealth.
