Karma
“Do your duty and stay away from the outcome; don’t get carried away with the end product; instead, enjoy the journey.”
This means that only when you do your work without thinking about the result will you be rewarded. The key is to avoid becoming too attached to or obsessed with the outcome. Do your karma and let go of the rest.
Consciousness
Lord Krishna encourages people to practice mindfulness or Live in the present moment instead of worrying about what the future holds. It states that if your current karma is good, your future will be bright.
When your mind goes to the future or remains in the past, you can achieve this by doing meditation and yoga.
Sacrifice
There will be many times in our lives when we will have to give up something in order to gain something more (and better).
According to Lord Krishna, there is no achievement without the art of sacrifice. You will not reach your maximum levels of success unless you sacrifice your money, your ego, your pride, your lust, and your comfort zone.
This also allows you to practice detachment at the same time.
Surrender
In the Bhagwat Gita, Lord Krishna says: “Abandon all Dharma (duties) and simply surrender to Me (God’s will) alone.“Do not fear; I will free you from every immoral reaction.”
The Lord wants you to identify yourself as a soul (spirituality) instead of a body (materialism). He also invites people to surrender to him and let go of his problems.
Acceptance
The Bhagwat Gita teaches people to let go and accept things as they are.
According to Lord Krishna, everything happens for a reason.
He states that one should not cry about what happens or stress out trying to manage uncontrollable circumstances. The goal is to let go, accept things and maintain a positive attitude.
