What is on-time performance?
When a plane arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival time, it is considered on time.
Flights that depart on time serve as an indicator of the airport’s punctuality.
With a track record spanning more than 15 years, Cirium’s timely performance reporting for airlines is the most established in the industry.
With increased air travel and construction of new airports, India is among the countries with the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world.
The global category does not include any Indian carriers.
An airport classified as global will have between 25 and 40 million seats and at least 80% actual gate departure coverage.
Such an airport must also serve its region and at least three other regions.
