KJ Jennings was born in Austin, Texas. At the age of 7 he joined musical theater where he learned to act, dance and sing. He continued with theater throughout school and spent time receiving classical training in opera. He is currently studying jazz performance as a senior at Berklee College of Music. KJ started her career as a singer with the music reality show The Voice in 2021. She impressed Black and Legend with her performance.
