This time, a family was looking for a groom for their daughter, specifically for a ‘short marriage’. What exactly is a ‘short marriage?’ This intriguing subject arose after a screenshot of this humorous ad went viral, prompting an outburst of ‘flaw-less’ laughter among people on the internet.

A user named Tanishka Sodhi shared the snapshot on platform ‘X’. The ad read, “Wanted groom from a affluent family from Mumbai for a short marriage, Brahmin divorcee girl, Smart educated, ( born in) 1989, 5’7” (tall).Girl running her own hospitality business in Mumbai. (Caste no bar).”

Tanishka’s caption conveyed her surprise, “A ‘SHORT marriage’??????”

The ad left people on the internet really perplexed

Others were perplexed as well. One commenter joked, “Made In Heaven S3,” referring to the TV show ‘Made In Heaven’ and its depiction of short-lived marriages.

The fourth user provided a more fair conclusion, “The ad may have a wording error.” They could have meant a marriage with a short length or a basic setup, not necessarily a marriage with a short duration.”

All typos excused due to caste no bar.

The ad may have a wording error. They might have meant a marriage with a brief duration or simple setup, not necessarily a marriage that will be short-lived.

Previously, a fragment of an odd ad appeared leaving people pretty amused. The last line of this advertisement was what made it unique. The bride’s family made it obvious that they were not interested in offers from software engineers, in addition to certain professional and caste-based preferences. “Software engineers, please do not call,” the ad stated plainly.
