This unfortunate situation occurred to Saurabh, who, with the help of a local friend, discovered that the luxurious villa booked in Goa was nothing but a hoax.

Expressing his displeasure, the individual took to social media and accused travel booking company Homestays and Villas, along with its founder Siddharth Bakaria, of engaging in fraudulent activities.
According to Saurabh’s social media post, he had even shelled out Rs 1.2 lakh to Bakaria to secure the villa in Goa during the last week of December, only to meet with disappointment at the end.
The user revealed that he booked a villa in Goa on December 12 and made a payment of Rs 1.2 lakh. Fortunately, a friend who checked the location in advance informed them that the place did not exist.

The user posted a screenshot showing the company canceling the booking and guaranteeing a refund of Rs 40,000 by December 27, with the remaining amount being committed within 14 days.
However, the user claimed that he only received Rs 40,000 and criticized Bakaria for neglecting calls and delaying payments with various excuses. Saurabh then alleged that Bakaria advised him to file a legal complaint.
