He has been chosen as one of the team’s four net throwers. After placing second in the World Cup qualifying matches, the Netherlands qualified for the World Cup.
Where is he from?
Lokesh Kumar, a left-arm wrist spin bowler, is a 29-year-old former left-arm pacer. During training in Bengaluru, he was chosen to play the Netherlands batsmen.
He commented: “This is one of the most precious moments of my career,” in a statement to the Times of India. “The TNCA third division league is where I still have to compete.”

Explaining the entire process, he said, “After seeing the advertisement, I really wanted to give it a try. I felt I would have an advantage over others as there are not many wrist spin bowlers in the country. The Netherlands was looking for a mystery roulette wheel and I checked that box. “So I decided to try it.”
