Megyn Kelly said former President Trump had lost “multiple steps” mentally and was no longer the same man he was in 2016.
The podcast host and former Fox News host said the 77-year-old former president was starting to show his age, and it wasn’t pretty.
“There’s no question that Trump has lost one or several steps,” Kelly told conservative commentator Glenn Beck on Friday. “You are confusing Joe Biden with [Barack] Obama… I know he’s now saying he did it intentionally; go back and watch the clips, it wasn’t intentional.”
“The reference to how someone is going to take us to World War II, confusing countries, confusing cities where it is, and that’s happening more and more,” he said.
“This is what happens when you are 77 years old. Trump seems inhuman, but he is not inhuman. He is a human. He is a man,” Kelly continued. “DeSantis’ line about ‘Father Time forgives no one’ was good. So look, if it’s between Trump and Biden, I don’t think there’s any question about who is fitter and more capable. But are we really going to pretend that Donald Trump is as vibrant and mentally sharp as he was in 2016?

The moment was immediately seized by Trump’s main opponents, particularly Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who he circulated the clip in X. Team DeSantis has tried to take advantage of Trump’s age and has noted that ‘Father Time is undefeated’
Kelly and Trump have a long personal history dating back to the 2016 presidential election. The former president famously dismissed tough questions posed to him at the time by saying “blood was coming out of his eyes.” He blood coming out of her wherever.”
Trump has repeatedly confused President Biden with Obama in recent public statements, but has insisted the errors have been intentional.
