The father of the 20-year-old admitted that the road to recovery for Tominey was a fight not yet won, “She has the biggest fight ahead of her but is one of the strongest people I know and is ready for this fight! T-Bomb will come out of this stronger than ever!”

The family is not only facing the heartbreaking truth of their daughter’s recovering state but also the burden of all the medical surgeries she had to endure in order to survive the fall and make a recovery. To help the family, Tominey’s aunt, Kristin Small, created a GoFundMe page to support the family through the difficult time.

As of Wednesday, the family has raised over AU$ 47,000 (around Rs 25 lakh). The goal of the fundraiser has been set at an even AU$ 50,000, and by the looks of it, the family will soon reach their goal and have enough to support Tominey’s recovery.

According to the fundraiser, Tominey is still currently in the ICU at the Alfred Hospital. She is described by the hospital staff as “sweet, clever, brave, and with her sense of humour definitely intact, Tominey’s personality radiates warmth and resilience even during these trying times.”

The post also informed the donors that Tominey’s 21st birthday is fast approaching in about four weeks. Before the tragic accident, Tominey had been dedicatedly working towards her big goals.
