Mohit began his career in the science fiction television show Antariksh – Ek Amar Katha as Vikrant in 2004. He appeared in the television series Meher, which aired on DD National in 2005. The same year, he appeared in the series Bhabhi as Shubham Chopra in 2005. Mohit played the role of Garv Dhanvat Rai in the thriller drama series Chehra on Star Plus in 2009.
