The shop’s owner, Vipul Nikub, says the flame has been burning since 1949.
He said: “In 1949, my grandfather started this. There has been a flame since 1949. Every day, the shop is open 22 to 24 hours. Traditionally firewood and coal are used to heat the milk.”
“We are running the store generation after generation, which has been in operation for about 75 years. This store has a tradition here and I am the third generation in this area. The milk store is very well known, people enjoy it and the milk provides the energy and food consumers, that is why we manage the business successfully,” he continued.
