Riyadh Masters 2023 Dota 2
The group stage of the Riyadh Masters 2023 is scheduled to start on July 21 and end on July 24. All series in the group stage will be best-of-two (BO2) games, with a round-robin format for the group stage. The top four teams in each group advance to the top bracket of the playoffs, while the fifth- and sixth-place teams advance to the bottom bracket. The organizers have revealed the two groups in which the teams will participate in the group stage of the Riyadh Masters.
Eight of the 20 participating teams have already qualified for the group stage based on their results in DreamLeagues 19 and 20. The remaining 12 teams compete in a single round-robin, best-of-two matchup after qualifying via the EPT and a MENA qualifier. The top two teams will advance to the group stage before a short single-elimination bracket begins, in which four more teams will be eliminated from the competition.
The group stage then begins with two groups of eight teams, each playing a single best-of-two round-robin match. The top four teams move to the top bracket, followed by the next two teams moving to the bottom bracket, and the bottom two teams being eliminated. The competition then moves on to the double-group playoffs, which are more comfortable ground. Except for the best-of-five championship game, each series is a best-of-three matchup.
The group stage of the Riyadh Masters 2023 starts on July 21 and ends on July 24. During this time, the bottom two teams from Groups A and B will be eliminated from the competition. There will be 48 series played over the course of the first three days of the Group Stage, or 16 series per day. Day 4 of the Group Stage will contain 8 series, and if there is a tie, the tiebreaker matches will be played after that.
