Birth and early life
Sheila Carrasco is from the South Side of Chicago. She studied BFA directing and set design at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA from Harvard University and the Moscow Art Theater. Sheila is half Chilean and half American. She has a brother and sister who are lieutenant colonels in the US Marine Corps and Air Force, respectively.

Sheila first appeared on screen in the television series The Untouchables as a child actress in 1993. Sheila is known for her roles in The beauty Inside, Jane The Virgin as Dana Peruzzi, Carrier as Agent Torres, Dark Air and Outmatched. She worked in the American comedy Ghosts, starring Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar in 2021. She played the role of Susan Montero, also known as Flower, in the series.
