The Royal Tandoori Indian Restaurant, located mid-hill on uptown Sixth Street, is expanding under Chef Jasminder Singh, who has 20 years of experience from the province of Punjab.

Jasminder Singh learned to cook as a child from his family in Ludhiana, India, where he later owned a successful restaurant. He brought his recipes with him to the Royal Tandoori.

The cuisine is delicious, and the portions are large. The dining space is large and has a casual West Coast theme and a full liquor selection. Visit once, and you’ll undoubtedly return many times with friends.

Their comprehensive menu includes traditional North Indian delicacies such as butter chicken and lamb korma. Freshly-baked naan bread straight from the tandoor oven is a must.

4 Seasons Chaat House is a one-of-a-kind Indian cuisine experience featuring casual dining street food. They are dedicated to giving you a genuine and unique taste of traditional Indian flavours. 

The dine-in location in the lively uptown district of New West and sharing a wall with the East African restaurant Massawa is a go-to spot for people craving popular Indian street cuisine. 

The menu includes a variety of delectable chaats, samosas, pav bhaji, and other typical Indian street foods. Their chefs prepare each meal with passion and attention, using only the freshest ingredients. In one area, you may sample flavours from all around India! 

According to Devendra Panwar, the restaurant’s owner, all of the dishes are prepared fresh in the restaurant’s open kitchen every morning. 

A team of ten people, including Panwar’s wife and daughter, work throughout the week to introduce the New West community to the food that is distinctive to India — especially the city of Dehradun, which is located on the Himalayan foothills and is where Panwar and his family are originally from.

Delhi Connection is the newest addition to New Westminster’s thriving Indian cuisine industry. Akshay Dhingra, the chef and restaurateur here, is of Indian ancestry. He revived his passion for Delhi cuisine by opening this restaurant on Fifth Avenue in New Westminster in January 2023. 

He has ten years of experience in the food and hospitality industries and has worked with ‘The Qureshi.’ Tandoori chicken tikka, chicken korma, and dal makhani are his favourites on the menu.

Akshay’s recipes are time-tested, but he adds his spin to add spark, flavour, and texture to the soulful food he serves. With a commitment to quality and hygiene, the delicacies at Delhi Connection will melt on your tongue, and we guarantee that you will return time and again.
