The Rig is an upcoming American television series directed by John Strickland and created by David Macpherson. Iain Glen and Emily Hampshire are bagged to play the main characters in the series. The series also stars Martin Compston, Rochenda Sandall, Richard Pepple and Owen Teale.
Filming for the show will take place in Scotland, on an oil rig and at Edinburgh’s FirstStage studios. This will be the first Amazon show to film in Scotland.
