“Behold the stunning beauty! Feast your eyes on the mesmerizing view of India’s last highway in Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu,” the caption read.

The road is part of a now abandoned village called Dhanushkodi.

Dhanushkodi is a noteworthy site on the map as it marks the point where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean. The settlement is about 18 km from Rameswaram.

The town was previously a thriving community with a train station, post office and other services. However, the city was destroyed by a strong hurricane in 1964 and is now known as a ghost town, according to the Times of India.

The video was shared on February 6 and has received more than 10,000 views. The scenic splendor of the video has captivated people on social media. Several people responded overwhelmingly warmly, with many expressing their admiration for the stunning views.
