Career
He started his acting career with the television show Faster Fene in 1983. Later, he appeared in a mythological drama Mahabharat aired on Doordarshan. In the series he played the role of young Sudama.
In his initial career, he worked in several shows like Hudd Kar Di, Sanjivani – A Medical Boon, Shubh Mangal Savdhan, etc. She later acted in the television show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai alongside Rupa Ganguly. She gained immense popularity with this show. In 2009, he played the role of Rajdip Yagnik in the series Ghar Ki Baat Hai and was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Role. After that, he worked in the show Sajan Re Jhut Mat Bolo as Apoorv Shah.
Additionally, he hosted a few shows and received an award for Best Presenter at the Indian Television Academy Awards. In 2013, he appeared as a contestant on the reality show Nautanki: The Comedy Theatre. He hosted Raina Beet Jaye-Jashn in 2016 and India Ke Mast Kalandar in 2018.
In 2017, he appeared in a web series Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Take 2. He also played small roles in some Bollywood movies like My Name is Khan, Firaaq, Holiday, Ghoom, U Me Aur Hum, etc. few Hollywood movies in Hindi including Blue Streak, Rush Hour 2, Bad Boys 2 etc.
