Sunidhi Chauhan was born on August 14, 1983 in New Delhi, India, into a Rajput family. His father’s name is Dushyant Chauhan, who was a theater artist at Shriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra. Her mother is a housewife. She also has a younger sister, Sneha Chauhan. Her family background influenced her to pursue a career in music.
He began performing at local gatherings at the age of 5 and debuted his career at the age of 13, with the film Shastra (1996).

Career
Sunidhi started her career with the song Ladki Deewani Dekho for the film Shashtra in the year 1995. She sang this song alongside the legendary Udit Narayan and was given a break by music director Aadesh Shrivastava, who heard her voice at the 40th Filmfare Awards with the Little Wonder group.
In 1995, he released his first album Aira Gaira Nathu Khaira. Sunidhi then worked as a backup singer for two years. She made her breakthrough with the song Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi from the movie Mast (1999). She received two Filmfare nominations for the song.
She has sung several hit songs like Mehboob Mere, Bumbro, Say Shava Shava, Ishq Samundar, Crazy Kiya Re, Desi Girl, Dilliwaali Girlfriend and many more.

Personal life
Sunidhi married Bobby Khan in 2002, but due to the marriage she became estranged from her family and they disowned her due to some problems in their relationship. Sunidhi and Booby separated after a year of marriage.
