Tara Strong (also known as Tara Lyn Charendoff) is a Canadian-American actress, singer, voice-over artist, and businesswoman. She is famous for voicing characters in animated films and video games, as well as acting in live-action productions. She is best known for playing Timmy Turner in the television series The Fairly OddParents, Raven in Teen Titans, Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls, and Batgirl in The New Batman Adventures.

Tara Strong was born on February 12, 1973 to Syd and Lucy Charendoff in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Lucy ran a candy shop called The Wiz and Syd works as a pharmacist. She has an older sister named Marla Charendoff. She belongs to a Jewish family. Tara completed her education at Forest Hill Collegiate Institute.
Her acting career began when she performed as a soloist in a school production at age 4. She began performing in the Yiddish Theatre, although she did not know Yiddish, she memorized her lines phonetically. She also performed at the Toronto Jewish Theater. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Career
Tara’s first professional role was offered to her at the age of 13. Her first role was Gracie in Limelight Theatre’s production of The Music Man. In 1987 she landed the lead role in the cartoon Hello Kitty’s Furry Tale Theater. She is the voice behind a multitude of American animated characters, including leading roles in Beetlejuice: The Animated Series as Bertha and Claire Brewster.
From 1989 to 1991, Tara voiced young Celeste in the cartoon Babar. Subsequently, the voice actress made numerous cartoons, live shows, films and television movies. Some of her notable acts were Piggsburg Pigs, Super Mario World, The New Batman Adventures, Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island and Sabrina Goes to Rome.
In 1998 she was offered the opportunity to voice the character of Bubbles for the Power Puff Girls. He made numerous projects between 2000 and 2010, including Family Guy, Teen Titans, Spider Man, the new animated series, My Friends Tiger and Pooh, Phineas and Ferb, and Tarzan and Zane.
Her recent projects include The Boss Baby, Despicable Me 3, Minions, and Injustice 2. She is currently busy with her shows My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Justice League Action, Ben 10, and Bunsen is a Beast. In 2004, she won an Interactive Achievement Award for her role as Rikku in Final Fantasy X-2.
