The teenage daughter of a wealthy Massachusetts family believed to have been killed in a murder-suicide this week was “brilliant” and “deeply spiritual,” according to one of her teachers.

In a YouTube video titled “The Effects of Noise Frequency on Heart Rate Variability,” Kamal discussed the topic of how noise affects heart rate, noting, “I have differences in sensory processing, so I’m really aware of stress-inducing or stress-causing causes. alleviate the effects of sound, personally.”

Arianna was apparently home over the Christmas holidays when she was found dead alongside her parents, Teena and Rakesh Kamal, in their $5.45 million home.
Their bodies were found around 7:30 p.m. Thursday and a gun was found near Rakesh Kamal, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

He declined to say whether the three family members were shot and killed and by whom.
Their bodies were discovered by a relative who went to check on them after not hearing from them for several days, police said.
The Kamals appeared to have faced financial problems, according to online records.
Police said there were no records of past disturbances at the home or problems with the family.
The family’s sprawling mansion went into foreclosure a year ago and was sold to Massachusetts-based Wilsondale Associates LLC for $3 million, according to property records obtained by The Post.

The Kamals had purchased the 19,000-square-foot property, which has 11 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, for $4 million in 2019, records show.
Teena and her husband, who also went by Rick, had previously run a Massachusetts-based education systems company called EduNova.
The company was founded in 2016 but dissolved in December 2021, state records show.
Teena Kamal filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in September 2022, listing between $1 million and $10 million in liabilities, filings show.
However, the case was dismissed two months later due to lack of documentation.
Teena, a Harvard alumna, was listed as a board member of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts.
