McCommon, whose attorney claims he is the target of a local social media witch hunt, used an unknown number to contact the boy in an attempt to circumvent court restrictions, officials said.

He also addressed a sexual encounter with the victim in a text.

“The evidence indicates that McCommon sent a text message to a victim, using a specific keyword known to the minor as a keyword that McCommon would previously use to confirm that the minor was alone, often before sending nude photographs on SnapChat.” Covington police said in a statement.

The recipient reported the contact to police and McCommon was arrested once again.

“Not only are McCommon’s actions egregious, but CPD is also concerned about this apparent violation of his bail conditions. Due to the nature of the communications, we are concerned that other individuals may have been contacted,” said Covington Police Chief Donna Turner.
