A conversation between mother and son went viral on TikTok, after the young man nostalgically remembered that he had already graduated from college 2 years ago.
Instead of congratulations and pride, the Honduran received some uninspiring words from his mother, who complained about his work situation.
“Look, mom, it’s been 2 years since I graduated,” said the young man, identified as jasoncarcamo11 on his TikTok account, showing his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH).
To which his mother responded bluntly: “And what good is that, what good has it done for you,” she says.
He responded that ‘he is already a graduate’ and that he feels proud of it.
However, his mother reminds him that he is not in his career yet, but rather works in customer service.

“That’s why he worked so hard studying, staying up late, to be in customer service, and he already bought a car?” says Cárcamo’s mother.
The young man replied that not because of all that “little by little”, but that he will make an effort to have it.
Apparently this does not matter to the mother, responding that she has not yet met her goals.
“Neither one nor the other, what happened with graduation, has not been able to do beyond what is expected,” he pointed out.
In the end, he was only left looking at his title, remembering everything he experienced and sacrificed to have it.
