The video shows rescued Israeli hostages tearfully reunited with their loved ones after months of cooking for their captors.

A moving video captured the moment two rescued hostages were tearfully reunited with their loved ones after being held for four months by Hamas terrorists, where they were holed up in an apartment complex cooking for their captors.

Brothers-in-law Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Louis Har, 70, were seen hugging relatives at Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center after their rescue on Sunday during a deadly attack on a residential building in Rafah, Gaza Strip. Loop.

Marman appears overcome with tears as his relatives hug him, and both the men and their loved ones continually wipe tears from their faces.

Some of the men’s relatives were among the hostages freed in November.

The men, both holding dual Argentine and Israeli citizenship, were kidnapped and taken to Gaza from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak during the Hamas raid on October 7, which started the war between Israel and Hamas.

Marman and Har were held on the second floor of an apartment complex and stayed with a Palestinian family who allegedly asked them if they were Jewish, Ynet News reports.

Instead of mentioning their Israeli citizenship, the men responded that they were both “Argentinian,” leading the family to engage in regular conversations about soccer, relatives said.

During their time in captivity, the men said they were tasked with cooking meals for the family while they were forced to survive primarily on pita bread and white cheese.

Marman and Har were notably seen losing weight significantly after their 129 days in Gaza, similar to what other freed hostages had experienced.

But despite staying in the family’s apartment, the men were not allowed to watch the news, preventing them from learning about the hostage exchange deal in November that left their relatives free.

They were rescued on Sunday when Israeli soldiers stormed a residential building in Rafah, where at least seven other people were killed.

Both men are in good medical condition, according to the Israel Defense Forces, which shared images of their meeting.

Authorities said the rescue mission was based on “accurate intelligence” and that the area where the hostages were held had been under surveillance for “some time.”

The hostages were reached after an explosive burst into the building and an intense exchange of gunfire and airstrikes took place.

Israeli planes, tanks and ships were involved in the attacks that hit two mosques and several homes, residents told Reuters.

Some 250 Israelis were taken hostage by Hamas terrorists following their surprise cross-border attack last year, which killed some 1,200 people.

More than 100 hostages, including Har’s companion and Marman’s sister Clara Marman, her other sister Gabriela Leimberg and her niece Mia Leimberg, were freed by Hamas during a week-long ceasefire in November.

Israeli officials believe approximately 100 hostages remain in Gaza. Hamas also holds the remains of about 30 people who were killed on October 7 or died in captivity.

Since Israel launched its retaliatory attack on Gaza, its army has killed 28,000 Palestinians, according to health officials in the territory.
