Two-thirds of Americans disapprove of President Biden’s handling of immigration issues and, among other policy areas, his ratings were “average at best,” according to a new poll.

Only 32% of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of relations with China, and 37% approve of how he has handled relations with Russia, according to Gallup.
The president also received approval ratings in the 30th percentile range for his handling of the economy (37%), foreign affairs (38%), and labor disputes (38%).
The highest approval rating Biden was able to muster on any issue area was 47%, related to his handling of the situation in Ukraine.

Biden also scored in the 40th percentile range among Americans when it came to race relations (46%) and education (44%).
The economy was Biden’s weakest area among the Republicans surveyed, with just 3% saying they approve of the work he has done, and race relations was the issue he handled best, with 16% of Republicans approving.
“General American approval of Biden’s job as president and his handling of nine issues is broadly consistent and mediocre at best,” Gallup said of the poll results.
“If he continues to fight for scores above 40, history suggests he is unlikely to win re-election,” the pollster warned.
