The Alabama boat fight video is trending on Twitter with several nicknames including Michael Phelps, Aquamayne, and Shaquille O’Gills because a man in a blue t-shirt swan across the river to fight at Montgomery’s Riverfront Park in Alabama. However, Montgomery police affirmed four active warrants with the possibility of more plus several who were detained with pending charges. Many people have been taken into custody.
The police unit of the Montgomery Police Department responded to the fight at the 200 block of Coosa Street in Montgomery AL, at 7 pm on Saturday. There several people were fighting therefore police arrested several people. The video of the incident is also said to be racially divided. It surfaced on the internet on Sunday. Alabama Political Reporter Josh Moon posted a short video on social media, that shows several white people fighting a black man who is a dock worker, according to Jasmine Williams of WSFA. In the video, only the sound that can be heard is the yelling of the witnesses but it seems that the brawl started with a verbal argument between one of the white men and the single black man. Then the brawl started in earnest, and several white people started hitting the single Black man. Shortly a man appears swimming across the river to see the fight.
