A brutal incident occurred with a teacher that sparked outrage among the people and they demand strict measures against the suspect. The victim is identified as Nia King, who is the substitute educator at Eagle’s Landing Georgia High School in Henry County. According to the latest viral video, Nia King was recently dragged and held in a choke hold and this heinous crime was committed by the school resource officer. People are quite shocked after seeing the violent behavior of the school resource officer and want to know the reason for her unacceptable behavior.
Who is Nia King?
Reports state that the video of the entire incident surfaced on social media platforms on Monday, April 3, 2023 and it only took a few seconds for it to go viral on social media platforms. As soon as the video reached the people, they were enraged and demanded justice for the victim. The substitute teacher was reportedly trying to resolve the altercation between 2 female students when the incident occurred. In the viral video, we can see SRO putting her arm around her Nia’s neck and pulling her out from between her 2 pupils.

The victim claimed that she was calmly trying to break up the altercation between the students before one of them hit her. The unnamed officer claimed that he dragged Nia into her office because he was trying to save her. However, the substitute teacher said that she was having trouble breathing. She claims that she tried to talk the 2 students out of an altercation, but backed down when they came to hit her. She spoke to an investigative reporter on Friday, March 31, 2023, and said that once the altercation moved into the hallway, she was stomped from left to right, and she was back in the middle of the fight.
Once they were in the SRO office, the substitute teacher claims that the officer asked her if she needed the nurse or EMS, and some water. But Nia asked the officer to get off her as she dragged her to the point where she found it hard to breathe. She further added that the SRO told her that she was trying to save her because they say she was beaten. The victim claims that she did not believe her officer’s excuse for trying to save her by dragging her away. Furthermore, she claimed that she had previously been mistaken for the school’s student, but she encountered SRO many times.

To be clear, school employees wear ID cards, so if the officer “thinks” she was a student on multiple occasions, it indicates the officer is not observing and perhaps targeting the teacher, in my opinion. .
