An Alabama woman called 911 to report a false burglary at her home because she was afraid of “bad weather,” according to police.
Kelley Giniebra, 39, called the emergency dispatch center in her hometown of Dothan on Jan. 9, alleging a burglary was taking place at her home, the Dothan Police Department revealed in a news release Thursday. .
When officers arrived at the woman’s home on Johnson Circle, they quickly determined that no burglary had occurred.
“Ginibera had reported this so that officers would come to his residence faster because he was afraid of bad weather,” police said.
